MANILA — Another player has opted to leave the UP Fighting Maroons to transfer to another school.

Former NCAA Juniors MVP Luis Pablo will be transferring to the De La Salle Green Archers, sources told ABS-CBN News.

The 6-foot-7 forward of the Fighting Maroons appeared in 16 games for State U in his rookie year in Season 86, but only saw limited action as he averaged 9:09 minutes per contest.

It will be a homecoming for Pablo, who normed 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds for UP, as he previously suited up for La Salle Green Hills during his high school career.

Pablo was already reportedly missing UP’s recent practices during this off-season.

He joins Jared Bahay and Chris Hubilla as the recent Maroons who have decided to leave UP and play for another institution.

Bahay decommitted and will be playing for Ateneo, while Hubilla is now headed to Letran.

Meanwhile, UP will be banking on Gani Stevens, Mark Belmonte, and Miguel Yniguez, to load up their front line.

The Maroons will all be parading prized transferee Noy Remogat starting Season 88.
