MANILA -- Comedian and TV host Ryan Bang surprised guests when he introduced his girlfriend Paola Huyong during the opening night of his new restaurant Paldo.

The couple first met during a casual game of football.

Bang said, recalling of how their love story began.

Since then, the two have had many interesting conversations about business and they instantly clicked. Huyong is 28 years old, while Bang is 32. She lives in Alabang and works in an advertising agency.

According to Bang, Huyong already met his parents. Bang’s mom works as a house broker, while his dad drives a taxi cab in South Korea.

Bang also treasures that he and Huyong have strong relationship with God and she has influenced Bang to attend church service every Sunday.

Talagang super overwhelmed. Ang sarap sa puso. Ang sarap maging parte ng pamilya ng Pilipino eh,” he said.

Huyong was instrumental in making one of Bang’s biggest wishes in life come true. When Bang and Huyong flew to South Korea to meet his parents, he didn’t expect that he would be able to spend time with his separated parents together.

“Siyempre nagulat sila, first time nila. In Korea, you never introduce to your parents if you really want her. Nagulat 'yung magulang ko,” he said.

"'Yun 'yung best feeling ever. Wini-wish ko 'yun. At natupad dahil kay Paola.”

While their relationship is still young, Bang won’t deny that he is already manifesting that day he would marry Huyong.

May plan talaga ako,” he said.

Paldo, a Korean fine dining restaurant, is located at 33 Scout Santiago Street in Quezon City.
