MANILA -- "It's Showtime" host Ryan Bang knew that his non-showbiz girlfriend, Paola Huyong, is "the one" for him just six months into their relationship.

Paano inaccept ako, family ko, culture ko, pagkatao ko. Alam mo na eh. Ramdam mo siya na pang habang buhay mo kasama," he explained.

"Manhikan ako last week sa bahay, kung saan parents. Nagpaalam ako. Iyon pala pinaka mahirap. Di naman ako… noong nakausap ko na magulang, doon masarap na pakiramdam. Excited na sila. Na-happy din sila sinasabi ko totoo. Sincere at natupad," he said.
