MANILA – A group of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries on Thursday said they do not object to the cleaning of the list of program beneficiaries, provided only those "undeserving" are delisted from the government project.

Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo on Monday said almost one million “undeserving” 4Ps beneficiaries will be removed from the social assistance program as it undergoes review.

Catacio said parent leaders play an important role in ensuring that only those qualified program will benefit from it.

The DSWD said there are 2 major criteria for removing families from the list of 4Ps beneficiaries: non-compliance with the conditions set by the conditional cash transfer program, and their achievement of financial independence.
