Muntinlupa Cagers—Angelis Resort beat Parañaque Patriots—Gamboa Coffee, 66-56, at Muntinlupa Sports Complex on Saturday night to force a rubber match in their best-of-3 semifinals series in the MPBL Anta Rajah Cup.

The Cagers engaged the Patriots in a low-scoring game, holding Parañaque to only 6 points in the third quarter en route to victory.

Chito Jaime led all scorers with 26 points to go with 13 rebounds, while Pari Llagas and Dave Moralde scored 13 points each.

This was a welcome turnaround for the Cagers, who were routed by the Patriots, 84-59, Thursday night.

Game 3 is on Thursday, with the winner facing early finalist Batangas City Athletics—Tanduay, which swept Valenzuela City Classic—Yulz in their own final-4 series.
