International pop star Ariana Grande addressed rumors following her divorce with real estate agent Dalton Gomez.

"The thing is is that like, we know this about the tabloids and about the media. Am I crazy, don't we know this?" Grande told Zach Sang in an interview.

Following her split with Gomez, Grande was linked to her fellow "Wicked" star Ethan Slater.

Grande said women have always been targeted with third party and breakup rumors.

"We selectively remember that this is what the tabloids do to people, especially women, based on whether or not we like the person. We selectively remember that," she said.

"We selectively leave space for humanness, for nuance, they don't leave space for that. They do for their friends and their family, it's selective, but they turn it off when that aligns with the version of the person that they have in their head that they want to believe is true," she added.

Grande described the situation as an "insatiable frustration, inexplicable, hellish feeling" hoping that fans would know the difference with fact and fiction.

"I don't say this for them. I'm saying this for my fans, for myself. Of course, there's like an insatiable frustration, inexplicable, hellish feeling with watching people misunderstand the people you love and you and anything," she said.

Asked if her upcoming album will also address the issue, she said in jest: "Oh, God. I hope so, it really does. I think it's the absolute worst idea."

"Peace is a bit touch of things that are real and peace is a little bit also just like a part of a concept," she said.

"What is that separation? And it's hard to leave it up to these selective memory people to decipher. It's scary, but I digress, too late, the vinyls have been printed."

Grande and Gomez started dating in 2020 and got married in 2021 at the singer’s home in Montecito, Southern California.

Several American media outlets earlier said Grande was the one who filed for divorce two months after their initial separation was first reported.

Citing a source, People magazine said the split was “kind and patient” and they have both “moved on.”

Grande earlier announced that her seventh album "eternal sunshine" will be released on March 8.
