MANILA -- Actress Barbie Imperial has joined the growing list of local celebrities who have ventured into vlogging.

Imperial turned to social media on Thursday night to share the good news as she shared a 30-second video introducing her upcoming YouTube channel "Barbie's World," which will be released on June 4.

"I’ve thought about vlogging on YouTube for so long but I always end up backing out. Feel ko kasi baka hindi magustuhan ng tao ‘yung mga trip ko in life. But the people close to me, made me realize they really love me for who I am. Kaya naman this time, I’m more ready to show you MY WORLD," she wrote in the caption of her post.

Imperial started her career in show business as part of "Pinoy Big Brother: 737" in 2015. Three years later, in 2018, she got her big break as the lead star of series "Araw Gabi" with JM de Guzman.

She recently starred in the iWantTFC's original series "The Goodbye Girl."

Currently, Imperial is doing a project with actor Carlo Aquino titled "I Love Lizzy," which will be directed by RC delos Reyes and is part of Star Magic's 30th anniversary celebration.
