MANILA --Meralco said about 19,000 of its customers lost their power during the onslaught of tropical storm Enteng.

The power distributor said most of those affected were in Metro Manila and Cavite, while the rest were in Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Batangas, and Quezon province.

Meralco said its personnel were working to restore power service to affected areas as soon as possible, as it encouraged the public to stay safe.
