MANILA – Dozens of flights were canceled on Monday, Sept. 2 due to bad weather as tropical storm Enteng enhanced monsoon rains. 


The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the following flights were canceled as of 11:50 a.m.     


PAL Express  

2P 2921/2922 Manila-Daraga-Manila

*2P 2923/2924 Manila-Daraga-Manila

2P 2671/2672 Manila-Calbayog-Manila

2P 2963/2964 Manila-Busuanga-Manila

2P 2965/2966 Manila-Busuanga-Manila

2P 2953/2954 Manila-Zamboanga-Manila


CebGo 

DG 6193/6194 Manila-Daraga-Manila

DG 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila

DG 6031/6032 Manila-San Jose-Manila

DG 6118 Naga-Manila


Cebu Pacific  

5J 321/322 Manila-Daraga-Manila

5J 325/326 Manila-Daraga-Manila

5J 821/822 Manila-Virac-Manila


AirAsia Philippines  

Z2 223/224 Manila-Caticlan-Manila

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) gave the following 10:15 a.m. update on the airports it operates. 


Lingayen Airport

- flight operations suspended

- continuous light to moderate rains


San Jose Airport

- 2 canceled flights (MNL-SJI-MNL)

- Affected passengers: 51 departure, 53 (estimate) arrival


Bicol International Airport 

- 10 canceled flights (MNL-DRP/DRP-MNL)

- All airports in Area V (BIA, Naga, Virac, Masbate, Daet, Bulan and Bacon) sustained no damage from tropical storm "Enteng" 


Masbate Airport

- 2 canceled flights (MBT-MNL/MNL-MBT)

- Affected passengers: 149 


Virac Airport

- 2 canceled flights (MNL-VRC/VRC-MNL)

- Slight to moderate wind, no rain and scattered cloudy sky 

- No damage was observed 


Naga Airport

- 4 canceled flights (MNL-WNP-MNL)

- No stranded passengers at the airport
