“The fastest way here is for the President to just pick up the phone, call the crown, and apologize... that settles everything,” ani Lozada.

In short, therefore, it was the President who was declared persona non grata and the Republic of the Philippines," paglalarawan ni Lozada.

"It’s not an ordinary declaration... that’s why it’s seldom used because here you are cutting your ties with the Republic of the Philippines," dagdag niya.

"I agree with protecting our nationals in Kuwait. But the process was very, very wrong because we did not coordinate with them...If you and I have problems and I am a guest in your house, I start interfering in your personal affairs. Di ba magagalit kayo? It’s as simple as that.”

"We acknowledge with heartfelt thanks the assurances of Kuwait...in protecting the rights and promoting the welfare of Filipinos working there," ani Cayetano
