Back in November, Luis Manzano was asked about how he would propose to his girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola.

He toyed with the question, telling the actress in jest that he can only promise her his "good looks" in exchange for her hand in marriage.

On Thursday, the TV host was apparently in a joking mood again, posting a sweet photo on Instagram of him carrying his lady love as they lounged around in a pool.

It prompted a flood of comments from his friends, with one of them telling Manzano to put a ring on Mendiola's finger already.

His response? "What if tapos na?" Manzano asked back.

He quickly reeled in the joke, however, when his friend tagged Mendiola, telling her that she'll know once he proposes.

And while it remains unclear when exactly he plans to get down on his one knee, one thing is for certain: Manzano has had it with those criticizing their relationship.

Under the same photo, he blasted a follower who mused about when they'll break up. Manzano clapped back by poking fun at the user's profile introduction and for spreading negativity.

Manzano has been with Mendiola since 2016. In February, he opened up about their plans to tie the knot.
