MANILA -- How would Luis Manzano propose marriage to his girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola? The TV host gave viewers of "Tonight with Boy Abunda" a sneak peek on Monday.

In their first interview together for the second anniversary of "Tonight with Boy Abunda," Manzano was asked how he would pop the question to the actress.

"To be honest, I promise you a lot of things if we were going to take that plunge that we're already talking about. And to some degree, we're already planning," said Manzano, who previously admitted that he and Mendiola are "seriously talking about marriage."

He added in jest: "Ang pangako ko sa iyo [ay] magandang lahi. Iyon ang promise ko sa iyo. Doon pa lang, wala ka nang problema. Ako na ang bahala doon!"

Manzano went on to tell the show's host, Boy Abunda, that he will wait for the right time to propose to Mendiola.

"I want to wait for the right time. I don't want to preempt anything naman," he said.

Manzano and Mendiola first opened up about their relationship in 2016.
