MANILA -- "Everything About Her" actress Angel Locsin is now back in the Philippines after undergoing a successful neck procedure in Singapore.

This is the second time the 30-year-old Locsin flew to the Southeast Asian country for treatment. Last December 4, the actress shared that she successfully underwent the first stage of neuro-spine surgery.

In an interview with Boy Abunda last October, the actress revealed that she may no longer fly like super heroine "Darna" because of the developing disc bulge that was found in her spine.

"It's really painful. Masakit po talaga, Tito Boy. Kami po ng ABS-CBN, nakapag-usap po kami, nag-decide po kami na mas makabubuti po sa lahat kung hindi ko na gagawin ang Darna," she said at the time.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old actress shared on Instagram a photo of herself in a wheel chair and wearing a neck brace.

Although she is still recovering from the procedure, Locsin chose to fly back to the country for her father's birthday on Wednesday.

"Won't miss my daddy's birthday tom! On our way home!" she wrote in the caption.

Locsin's father Angel Colmenares even fetched the actress at the airport when she arrived Wednesday morning.
