MANILA - Following a series of promotional duties for her film "Everything About Her," actress Angel Locsin is heading back to Singapore as she continues her road to recovery after damaging her spine.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old Locsin shared on her Instagram account a photo of her waiting for her flight at the Ninoy Aquino National Airport Terminal 2. The caption read: "SG bound kasama ang napilitang umupo sa sahig ng airport."

In a press conference held last January 30, Locsin confirmed that she will be heading back to Singapore to undergo another medical procedure for the disc bulge in her spine.

The actress first flew to the country back in December and successfully underwent the first stage of neuro-spine surgery.

Locsin shared that she is feeling a lot better following the treatment, but downplayed calls from fans for her to once again take flight as Darna, a role she first played back in 2005.

"Ang priority ko po kasi talaga ay magpagaling. May kaunting usap-usap pero ang kailangan lang po talagang mangyari ay maging successful po 'yung operation at walang mangyayaring masama after that. So iyon lang po ang iniisip ko," she said.

Back in October last year, Locsin, in tears, revealed that she will no longer be donning the famed costume for the movie adaptation due to the condition of her spine.

She recalled that there were days when she could not stand up and walk. "May isang araw po na gumising na lang ako, hindi na po ako makatayo, ni gapang, ni hatak sa sarili hindi ko magawa," Locsin, at the time, said.
