According to PBA courtside reporter Selina Dagdag, who interviewed Fernandez on the sidelines of Game 4 of the Barangay Ginebra-San Miguel Beer semifinals series at Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, the man called “El Presidente” said he believes Fajardo will dominate the league for “at least 10 more years.”
According to PBA courtside reporter Selina Dagdag, who interviewed Fernandez on the sidelines of Game 4 of the Barangay Ginebra-San Miguel Beer semifinals series at Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, the man called “El Presidente” said he believes Fajardo will dominate the league for “at least 10 more years.”
In the same interview, Dagdag added that Fernandez has two observations of Fajardo — that he should maintain the proper playing weight and not gain more pounds, and that if there’s an area Fajardo could be better at it’s his defense.

Fernandez told Dagdag that he and fellow Cebuano Fajardo rarely meet in person, but they make it a point to see each other when they’re in their home province.

Coincidentally, Fernandez was at MoA Arena with former teammate and on-court rival Robert Jaworski.
