Barangay Ginebra great Robert Jaworski said he doesn’t like how his favorite team is playing.

According to PBA courtside reporter Selina Dagdag, paraphrasing her interview with Jaworski in Game 4 on Thursday, the one-time league MVP and Ginebra playing coach said he is “disappointed” with the team and that it lacks “fire and animo na usually nakikita niya amongst the Gin Kings.”

Ginebra is down 2-1 in its best-of-7 semifinals series against San Miguel Beer in the PBA Philippine Cup.

Jaworski told Dagdag that he enjoys watching LA Tenorio and Scottie Thompson play. “Napakagandang ugali at dapat raw i-emulate,” Dagdag reported.

As is customary when Ginebra reaches the semifinals, Jaworski attended the game live at Mall of Asia Arena coincidentally with Ramon Fernandez, his former teammate and rival.

The coliseum announcer called their names, eliciting loud cheers as the two were shown on the giant screen in the first half.

Fernandez approached Jaworski and extended a handshake, then the two embraced and shared a short chat.
