MMA: Former UFC fighter Yushin Okami signs with ONE

Japanese MMA veteran Yushin "Thunder" Okami has recently signed with ONE Championship.
The Asia-based promotion announced the signing as it welcomed the former UFC fighter, who has seen victories over Anderson Silva, Nate Marquardt and even Filipino-American fighter Mark Munoz.
"Please join me in welcoming Japanese MMA legend Yushin Okami to ONE Championship! #WeAreONE," ONE founder Chatri Sityodtong said in a Facebook post.
With a professional record of 35 wins and 12 losses, Okami is one of the most prolific martial artists to emanate from Japan over the last 2 decades.
Okami has competed in numerous weight classes -- from light heavyweight all the way down to welterweight -- in various Japanese promotions including Pride and Pancrase.

He has also taken part in numerous high-profile grappling tournaments including the famed ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship in 2003.
Okami is the latest former UFC fighter to sign with ONE, after Brandon Vera, Demetrious Johnson, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Eddie Alvarez and Sage Northcutt.
