Former Ateneo high school center Kai Sotto has reportedly received an offer from University of Georgia to play in the US NCAA Division 1 program, an American sports website specializing in college recruitment said in a tweet on Monday.

In its website, Verbal Commits said Auburn University, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and DePaul University, like Georgia, have shown "medium interest" in Sotto, classified as a 4-star recruit by Rivals.com and ESPN.

The 7-foot-2 Sotto, who has been working on his game at The Skill Factor (TSF) in Atlanta, has made the most of his US exposure since arriving there last March.

TSF is known for its customized coaching and training programs, and is an hour or so away from Georgia campus in Athens.

Sotto posted averages of 27 points and 10 rebounds in an invitational tournament last month, before he landed in the top 70 of the ESPN 100 rankings for the recruiting class of 2020.

ABS-CBN News was awaiting word from Sotto and University of Georgia to confirm the development at the time the story was posted.
