Promising Filipino center Kai Sotto helped The Skills Factory win 3 straight in a US basketball tournament, where he led his squad to the championship and won most valuable player.

Sotto averaged 27 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 4.3 blocks in the King Invitational, in Atlanta.

The tournament ran between January 18 and 20.

In TSF's first game, an 89-76 win over Middle George Prep, Sotto registered 22 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks.

In a 112-95 victory over Texas squad Strength in Motion, Sotto finished with 34 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks and 4 steals

Against South Carolina's Believe Prep, which TSF beat 112-102, Sotto tallied 27 points in 25 minutes, to go with 10 rebounds, 6 blocks and 4 assists.

The 7-foot-2 center is training in the US with the hopes of being ready for the NBA.

Sotto had planned to play with Andray Blatche and Renaldo Balkman with Mighty Sports, but he eventually passed up because of "logistical and scheduling issues."
