ABS-CBN News/File MANILA — After several delays and extentions, the camp of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo finally filed Thursday her counter-affidavit on the "misrepresentation" case she was facing before the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The case against Guo stemmed from her alleged false claim in her voting records that she is a Filipino citizen, given evidence that she was Chinese national Guo Hua Ping.

Meanwhile, Garcia said it's not only Guo who could face a misrepresentation case in relation to the 2022 elections.

Garcia disclosed that their Legal Department also recommended to charge five other individuals for allegedly misrepresenting themselves when they ran for public office in 2022.
