Bagong Pilipinas is the Marcos Jr. administration’s branding of governance, which the Palace said, is of a “principled, accountable and dependable government” supported by an active and empowered citizenry.

The dissemination and inclusion of the Bagong Pilipinas hymn and pledge are meant to “further instill the principles of the Bagong Pilipinas brand of governance and leadership among Filipinos,” according to Memorandum Circular No. 52., signed for Marcos Jr. by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

It directs heads of government agencies to ensure that the Bagong Pilipinas hymn and pledge are properly disseminated in their offices while the Presidential Communications Office is ordered to implement measures to communicate the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn and Pledge to the public.
