MAYNILA— Matatanggap na ng milyon-milyong pensiyonado ng Social Security System (SSS) ang kanilang 13th month at 2021 December pensions sa unang linggo ng susunod na buwan.

“We have coordinated with our partner banks to credit the pensions on given dates during the first week of December so that our pensioners can receive and use them in time for the holiday season,” pahayag ni SSS president at CEO Aurora Ignacio.

Ayon kay Ignacio may kabuuang P27.5 bilyon ang ire-release na halaga ng SSS para sa 2021 December at 13th month pensions ng 3.14 milyong pensiyonado nito.

Itinakda na ng SSS ang pag-release ng pensions para sa pensiyonado na gumagamit ng Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESOnet), mga bangko o e-wallets, remittance transfer companies o cash payout outlets mula Dec. 1-4.

Ito ang mga itinakdang petsa itinakda sa pagbibigay ng pension:

• Disyembre 1, 2021 kung ang date of contingency ay mula sa first hanggang 15th ng buwan
• Disyembre 4, 2021 kung ang date of contingency ay mula sa ika-16 hanggang huling araw ng buwan o nakapag-avail ng advance 18 months pension

Para naman sa mga pensiyonadong gumagamit ng non-PESONet participating bank, ang kanilang 2021 December at 13th month pensions ay maike-credit sa kanilang account ng hindi lalampas ng Dec. 4.

Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang ahensiya sa Philippine Postal Corporation para mapabilis ang paghatid ng 2021 December at 13th month pensions ng mga pensiyonadong gumagamit ng tseke sa pagtanggap nito.

“For those whose pensions were suspended due to previous non-compliance with the Annual Confirmation of Pensioners Program (ACOP) but whose accrued pensions are now for resumption, they will receive the said pensions on the 16th day of the month (if with PESONet participating bank disbursement account) or on their date of contingency (if with non-PESONet participating bank disbursement account),” ayon sa pahayag ng ahensiya.

Taong 1988 nang magsimulang magbigay ng 13th month pension ang SSS sa mga pensiyonado nito tuwing Disyemre bilang dagdag regalo para sa Kapaskuhan.

“Those who are entitled to the 13th month pension are SSS retirement, survivor, and total disability pensioners. Partial disability pensioners may also qualify for the 13th month pension provided that their pension duration is at least 12 months,” sabi ng SSS.
