Meanwhile, CHR-7 confirmed the other survivor of the ambush is in stable condition. Villarino said his staff are not yet sure if the other survivor will also be under its custody once discharged.

Last Thursday, five men were killed in an ambush in Barangay Malubog, Cebu City. Two survivors earlier said that it was the police officers who brought them there and shot at them.
