MANILA- (UPDATE) All Philippine Military Academy officials with direct responsibility over the alleged hazing death of one of its cadets have been sacked, authorities said Monday.

In a joint statement, the PMA and the Baguio City Police said officials linked to the death of Cadet 4th Class Darwin Dormitorio have been relieved.

Dormitorio, 20, died Wednesday after complaining of stomach pain. He was confined at the hospital twice in the previous month and had bruises on his stomach consistent with hazing.

Authorities have identified 3 suspects in his death and 2 other cadets as new persons of interest.
