MANILA - A team of medical experts sent by China to help in the Philippines' fight against the fast-spreading coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is set to arrive in the Philippines on Sunday, April 5, the Chinese Embassy in Manila said Thursday.

The team, composed of 12 top Chinese doctors and nurses, have expertise in various fields such as critical care medicine, respiratory infection disease control and prevention, and traditional Chinese medicine.
