MANILA — There are now 2,633 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, the Department of Health said on Thursday.

During a televised briefing, the DOH announced 322 new cases of the contagious disease. Health Secretary Francisco Duque III also confirmed 1 new recovered patient and 11 new deaths.

This brings the number of total recoveries to 51 and total fatalities to 107.

Worldwide, there are now more than 930,000 COVID-19 cases, with the United States topping the list of countries with the highest coronavirus incidence. Of that number, 194,000 have recovered and 47,000 have died.
