PAMPANGA — The remains of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), who was killed by a wayward driver in Singapore, arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday.

The family of Arlyn Nucos received her remains at Clark International Airport in Pampanga.

Arlyn's older sister Arceli was also injured in the incident and remains confined in a hospital in Singapore. The Nucos sisters hail from Caba, La Union.

Another OFW, Abigail Leste, also died while 3 others were injured.

The victims were hanging out at Lucky Plaza, a popular shopping center along Orchard Road, when they were hit by a car driven by an unnamed 64-year-old on Sunday, Dec. 29.

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said the victims' families would receive all kinds of support and assistance.

Authorities have arrested the driver while investigation is ongoing.
