MANILA -- Theater and TV actress Carla Guevara-Laforteza is celebrating her 30th year in musical theater with a special concert.

Billed as "Á La Carlotta," the show will be held on July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Tanghalang Ignacio (Cultural Center of the Philippines Blackbox Theater).

The show will be directed by Paolo Valenciano and under musical direction of Gerard Salonga. It is written by Joel Trinidad with Mio Infante as the production designer.

Laforteza is a celebrated theater actress in the Philippines and abroad, having played the lead role of Kim in "Miss Saigon" in West End in the '90s.
