MANILA – Singer Jake Zyrus was touched to receive a message of support from fellow transgender Angelina Mead King.
“My manager sent me this and I am so grateful,” Zyrus said as he posted a screenshot of King’s message on Twitter.
“Thank you, Ms. Angie! Love you!”
In her message to Zyrus, King said: “I just wanted to reach out and show our support for you. Keep pushing the gender boundary to help pave the way for others who are afraid to become who they want to be.”

King, on the other hand, revealed early this year that she is a transwoman. The businessman and car enthusiast was previously named Ian King and is married to model-host Joey Mead.
