MANILA – Here are some of the events, shows, and activities that you can check out this weekend.

1. ‘COUPLE GOALS’ BOOK LAUNCH

When: March 23, 4 p.m.
Where: National Book Store, Shangri-La Plaza

International psychologist and relationship therapist Lissy Puno has penned a new, back-to-basics interactive guide for readers to get to know themselves and their significant other.

In “Couple Goals” under ABS-CBN Books, Puno provides relationship tips, a checklist of couple’s similarities and differences that really matter, and another list to confirm if felt emotions can lead to authentic love, to name a few.

Get a chance to meet Puno in person and ask more of her relationship guide during the book launch.

2. KUYA J’S SALO-SALO SPECIAL

When: March 22
Where: All Kuya J branches nationwide

This Friday, Filipino casual dining chain Kuya J is offering the Salo-Salo Special, a promo on its bestselling Grilled Scallops.

The promo allows diners to enjoy two servings of Kuya J’s famous Grilled Scallops for only P245. The dish is cooked with lots of cheese, garlic, and butter toppings.

3. POTTED POTTER

When: March 21 to 24
Where: Maybank Performing Arts Theater, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

After three sold-out seasons in the Philippines, the “Harry Potter” parody “Potted Potter” is back for another run.

The two-actor show is known for condensing all seven “Harry Potter” books into 70 minutes.

4. SPARK FEST 2019

When: March 23
Where: Globe Tower, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

Learn from celebrity speakers RJ Ledesma and Bianca Gonzalez as they complete the lineup of business innovators and influencers who will share their stories of success at Spark Fest 2019.

Participants at the conference not only get to attend special talks but also get a chance to pitch and consult with some of the country’s top entrepreneurs.

5. WORLD MACARON DAY AT BIZU

When: March 23
Where: Bizu branches at Greenbelt 2 Parkside, Greenhills Promenade, Alabang Town Center, St. Luke’s BGC, Eastwood Mall, and Robinsons Magnolia

Bizu joins in the World Macaron Day celebrations on March 23 by giving away a free macaron at selected branches.

The homegrown patisserie is known for reimagining the bite-size French cookie with local flavors such as Malagos chocolate, ube, durian, and calamansi.
