K-pop, K-drama stars coming to PH in September 2024

Photos from artists' X accountSeptember promises to be an exciting month for Filipino fans of K-pop and K-dramas, with several stars scheduled to visit the Philippines for a series of highly anticipated events.

On September 1, Doh Kyung-soo, better known as D.O of boy group EXO, will wrap up his two-day "Bloom" fan concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

On the same day, singer-songwriter eaJ, formerly of the rock band Day6, will bring his "When the Rain Stopped Following Me" concert to the SM North EDSA Skydome.

September 5 will see the return of the chart-topping girl group NewJeans to the Philippines for Coke Studio's Ultimate Fandom Concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. The event's lineup also includes P-pop group Alamat, singers Zack Tabudlo and Kyle Echarri, and rappers Nik Makino and Illest Morena.

Thai singer BamBam, widely recognized as a member of GOT7, will make a comeback with his "Bamesis" showcase tour. His visit includes a fan-signing event at the IC3 Convention Center in Cebu on September 6, followed by a showcase at the New Frontier Theater on September 8.

EXO member Xiumin and singer Punch are set to perform at the opening ceremony of the Korea Travel Fiesta on September 7, taking place at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati City.

Fans of Red Velvet can look forward to the girl group's return to the country with their "Happiness: My Dear, ReVe1uv" fan concert, scheduled for September 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena. On the same day, idol rock band FTISLAND will mount their "Pulse" concert at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Actor Wi Ha-jun, who gained international fame through the acclaimed survival drama series "Squid Game," will hold his "A Wively Day" fan meeting at the New Frontier Theater.

Rounding out the month, K-drama actor Jang Ki-yong, known for his roles in "My Roommate Is A Gumiho" and "The Atypical Family," will host his "Beautiful Day" fan meeting at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura in Taguig.
