The year is 2029 and just about all of Ryan Bang's dreams have come true: the Korean version of "It's Showtime" is celebrating its 10th year, and he's a K-pop superstar with his own legion of rabid fans.
It was part of their "Magpasikat" performance this Wednesday, which saw his partner Karylle yield the spotlight for his inspirational story of overcoming being bullied and loneliness with the help of friends.
It was what the Korean host had wanted and after which, he was given the chance to indulge in one more fantasy of his -- he finally got to introduce his "girlfriend" to his "It's Showtime" family.
Maintaining that this is the future, he brought out from the backstage a girl he was said to have courted during the time that had past.
While he did not name his "baby," it was pointed out that she's Ara Dabao, the daughter of Jacki Lou Blanco and Ricky Davao.
Asked for her message to Bang, Ara said: "Sobrang proud ako sa iyo."
"Sana totoo," Bang then quipped. "Mabilis ako ma-fall eh."
