Watching TV at her home in Cebu, Kaye Abad thought to herself that she wanted to return to acting: "Nami-miss ko na."
She remembered that moment in an interview months ago, and this week the actress appeared to have gotten her wish.
This Friday, she posted on Instagram Stories a photo of her on the set of a new teleserye, "Nang Ngumiti ang Langit," produced by RSB Drama Unit, the makers of the hit "Wildflower."
"Thank you sa mainit na pag-welcome sa akin," she wrote as the caption.
Abad decided to take a break from showbiz to start a family with her husband, Paul Jake Castillo. whom she marred in 2016. She gave birth to their first son last year.
Her last acting project was for an episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya," back in 2015 with her former onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz.
She made a string of TV appearances around May, including one in the morning talk show "Magandang Buhay" where she talked about how much she missed working as an actress.
"Hindi ako nahirapang iwan [ang showbiz], pero nami-miss ko na," she said of her hiatus.
