She's entered the new phase in her life -- motherhood.

And according to Kaye Abad, she has never felt this fulfilled before.

In a phone interview with radio host Jhai Ho, the actress described herself as "very blessed" to have had welcomed her first child with husband Paul Jake Castillo in just a little over a year of marriage.

She also said that while she's still getting used to the challenges of being a parent, her daily life has been so much happier since becoming a mom to their baby boy Joaquin.

"Naga-adjust pa pero happy. Tama iyong sinabi nila na sulit iyong lahat ng puyat at kung ano man iyong pagod," she admitted.

Asked if she's willing to go return to work as soon as she sheds her pregnancy weight, Abad said she's in no rush.

"For now kasi, [ang gusto ko is] mag-alaga muna since baby pa. Iyon muna ang priority ko bago bumalik trabaho."

It was just last December when Abad gave birth to Joaquin on the same day as Castillo's birthday.

The couple tied the knot in December 2016.

Abad previously mentioned in interviews that she wants to start a family with Castillo as soon as she can, saying she wants to have three kids.
