MANILA -- Just hours after Kris Aquino confirmed that she is leaving ABS-CBN, the network released a statement thanking Aquino for her years of service as a Kapamilya.

Aquino took to social media early Monday to announce that she has decided to leave ABS-CBN and has signed with APT Entertainment, Inc., which is closely associated with rival GMA-7.
