MANILA -- Robin Padilla on Tuesday assured that "Bad Boy 3" will still push through.

"Matutuloy po 'yon, hindi po puwedeng hindi matuloy kasi may sponsor na rin 'yon. Naantala lang. Okay naman 'yon. Kailangan mayroon tayong palabra de honor," Padilla told ABS-CBN News after he inked a new contract with the Kapamilya network.

"Kasi itong 'Sana Dalawa Ang Puso' commitment natin ito kay Jodi. Pagkatapos noon 'Bad Boy 3,'" he said.

Padilla uploaded a short teaser of "Bad Boy 3" on his Instagram account back in April but nothing has been reported about the project since then.

The first "Bad Boy" movie, with Cristina Gonzales as Padilla's leading lady, came out in 1990, and a sequel was released two years later.

Meanwhile, Padilla also announced that his hit daytime series "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso" with Sta. Maria and Richard Yap has been extended.

"Na-extend po ito, praise God. Marami pong salamat sa lahat ng mga nanonood," Padilla said.

Padilla, who is grateful for the success of the series, also made a request to the fans of the daytime drama.

"Sana po palakasin niyo po ang eksena, 'yung mga sweet. Kasi ang nagre-rate ay pa-action. Ayaw ko na pong mag-action. Pero biro lang. Salamat po. Sana po suportahan niyo palagi dahil pinapaganda po namin palagi," he said.

"Sana Dalawa Ang Puso" debuted last January 29. Directed by Rory Quintos and Mae Cruz-Alviar it, tells the story of Mona and Liza, two different women who look alike. The two characters are played by Sta. Maria.

Mona, who works as a "kristo" or bet collector in cockfights, falls for Liza's fiance Martin (Yap), while Liza falls for Leo (Padilla), a secret agent.
