MANILA -- After 27 years, Robin Padilla is resurrecting the "Bad Boy" film franchise.

Over the weekend, Padilla uploaded a short teaser of "Bad Boy 3: Bagani" on his Instagram account.

Back in February, Padilla announced that he is shooting a "hard action" movie. "Matagal niyo nang hinihingi. Ito po walang humpay ito," he said at the time.

The first "Bad Boy" movie, with Cristina Gonzales as Padilla's leading lady, came out in 1990, and a sequel was released two years later.
