MANILA – One day after it was revealed that James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s new series will be titled “Till I Met You,” a video of the actor’s mom Ella Macdonald singing the show’s theme song made the rounds online.

The clip was originally shared by Macdonald’s nephew on Twitter but has been reposted in various social media platforms.

In the two-minute video, Macdonald can be seen effortlessly singing “Till I Met You.”

“I told everyone that my talent came from my mother’s side. She’s an amazing singer, she’s an amazing dancer. I think that’s where I got my athletic ability,” Reid had said during his and Lustre’s concert in London in April.

To be directed by Antoinette Jadaone, “Till I Met You” will start airing in September. Its first trailer has started speculation that the series will tackle the subject of gay romance.

In past interviews, both Reid and Lustre shared that their new show will be more "mature" than their previous outing, "On the Wings of Love" (OTWOL).

Reid went as far as to say that the story in "Till I Met You" is better than "OTWOL," a kilig-filled romantic series that touched on the plight of overseas Filipino workers and concluded last February to strong ratings.
