MANILA - Closest friends of James Yap and girlfriend Michela Cazzola gathered Saturday afternoon for their baby shower, where the couple revealed the name of their first child.

Their baby boy will be named Michael James, taking after couple's names.

Cazzola is due to give birth in six weeks. Her family is expected to arrive in Manila in the coming days.

"My father is excited because I'm the only child and it's a boy, so he's really excited," she said.

It was not a difficult pregnancy for Cazzola, who said she did not experience morning sickness.

Michael James will be Yap's third child. He has a son, Bimby, with ex-wife Kris Aquino and another one with a previous relationship.

Yap said he had not talked to Bimby yet about his half-brother. He said they don't have any plans for Father's Day.
