MANILA - TV host Kris Aquino took to social media to express her love for her youngest son following reports that her ex-husband, basketball player James Yap, and his Italian girlfriend are expecting a baby.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Aquino said James "Bimby" Yap Jr. will "always have 100% of my heart and kuya's heart," referring to her eldest son, Josh.

Aquino acknowledged the remarks made by her fans regarding the pregnancy of Yap's girlfriend, Michela Cazzola, but the TV host opted to "keep quiet" because it is "the proper thing for me to do."

"I read some of your comments, the proper thing for me to do is just keep quiet," she said. "Bimb's okay and that's what matters to me."

Aquino previously revealed that she had a misunderstanding with Yap, who is Bimby's father.

Yap has been in a relationship with Cazzola since 2012, after his marriage to Aquino was annulled.

Aside from his son with Aquino, Yap has another child with an ex-girlfriend.
