There were rumors of a growing rift between Aiko Melendez and her boyfriend, Subic Vice-Governor Jay Khonghun, over these past few weeks, but the actress on Tuesday appeared to put them to bed.

She shared a photo on Instagram of her and Khonghun exploring the streets of Las Vegas.

As the caption, she wrote: "Amidst all the trials, challenges here we are still together. Stronger together."

Last week, Melendez dismissed rumors that Khonghun kicked her out of his house in Subic.

She said that she only agreed to live with Khonghun for more than a month because she wanted to help out with his election campaign, and that she had to move back with her kids.

She did admit that they did have "little fights" recently, mostly because of jealousy.

Prior to that, Melendez also had to downplay hurtful suggestions that she is the mistress of Khonghun.
