MANILA – During Gerald Anderson’s birthday last March 7, his girlfriend Bea Alonzo posted on social media a throwback photo of them together, recalling the first time she fell in love with the actor.

In that post, Alonzo called Anderson her “great love story.”

While Alonzo did a nine-year throwback, Anderson was asked during his “Magandang Buhay” appearance last March 18 how he sees his life nine years from now.

“Siyempre sana may pamilya na. Sana mas maraming gym. Gusto natin na stable, may family ako, may mga maliliit na ako or siya (Alonzo). Ako ang pangarap ko sana four babies,” he said.

Following Anderson’s statement, many got interested as to how Alonzo would react, including the hosts of “Magandang Buhay” themselves.

Hence, they did not let the opportunity pass when Alonzo came back to the show to promote her latest movie “Eerie.”

“Handa ka na ba sa babies na ‘yan, Bea?” host Karla Estrada asked Alonzo, who looked surprised before saying: “Apat?!”

“Siyempre nakakakilig marinig. And nasa edad naman kami na parang hindi naman na kami naglalaro,” she then explained. “Parang kakabahan din ako kung hindi siya ganun magsasalita.”

After a short-lived relationship in 2010, Alonzo and Anderson rekindled their relationship in 2016 when they co-starred in the movie "How to Be Yours."

In 2018, rumors surfaced that the two have called it quits. Last October, Alonzo confirmed that she has given Anderson a second chance.

"This story, even though it takes place far away from the reality of German daily life, still moved the audience here. That’s how impactful and relevant it is. This movie is special 💕," another fan wrote.

As per previous press release, Generation 14plus is a program in Berlinale that features the stories of children and teenagers. "Also known as 'coming-of-age,' the stories feature perspectives from young protagonists from around the world, highlighting the equally complex worlds of the youth."

Sunshine had a sold-out Berlinale premiere.

"Director Antoinette Jadaone, along with Actor Elijah Canlas and the team of SUNSHINE attend the film's packed screening at a 1000-pax theater! 🙏 They also held an engaging Q&A after more than a minute of applause at the end of the film. SUNSHINE is competing at this year's Berlinale under the Generation 14 category! 🤸‍♀️"Project 8 Projects previously shared.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News prior to her departure to Germany for Berlinale, lead star Maris Racal remarked that it has always been her dream to attend an international film festival.

"Matagal ko ‘tong hinintay na maka-attend sa isang prestigious film festival like Berlinale. I’m also very happy to announce din that Sunshine will be in competition under the Generation 14 plus category which tackles stories about children, teenagers," she remarked.

The actress went on: "Super happy kami kasi it’s only one of the two films in competition, it’s a huge thing for us."

Maris remarked that she is looking forward to knowing the reception of the European audience.

"I’m excited ‘cause I’m curious paano nila i-a-accept itong story. I’m sure they will be open minded naman about the story," she said.

The actress added: "I’m just going to be there, be present. Be a sponge there, absorbing everything. I know this will open a lot of new perspective for me, and hopefully a lot of doors too."

Sunshine follows the story of "a young gymnast who discovers she is pregnant on the week of the national team tryouts. On her way to a seller of illegal abortion drugs, she meets a mysterious girl who eerily talks and thinks like her," as per its IMDb.
