MANILA — Celebrity couple Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.

On Instagram, Andolong shared a video showing their photos together as she greeted her husband on their special day.

In the caption, Andolong shared quotes about love, such as “Love is the greatest gift when given. It is the highest honor when received,” “A long-lasting marriage is built by two people who believe in -and live by- the solemn promise they made,” and “If you're not happy with where you are and what you've got, you won't be happy with where you go or what you get.”

De Leon and Andolong were married in 2001, but have been together since 1980. Andolong previously explained that they consider the start of their relationship as the day of their union.

De Leon tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) but has been discharged from the hospital and is now on home quarantine.
