MANILA - One of the paintings of actress Heart Evangelista was featured on US fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, the Filipina's latest mark in the international scene.

Evangelista's "Follow Your Heart" artwork earned a full-page spread on the magazine's February 2019 edition that features Hollywood star Jennifer Lopez on the cover.

"I almost screamed in excitement when I saw this full-page spread of my painting on the latest issue of @harpersbazaarus! Their February issue featuring @jlo on the cover features my 'Follow Your Heart' artwork. What a way to welcome my birth month!" Evangelista said in an Instagram post Saturday.

"Thank you to the lovely people of the @harpersbazaarus team for featuring my work.😊 It means so much to me!" she said.

Apart from taking on television and movie roles, Evangelista is an accomplished artist known for painting on luxury bags and mounting exhibits. Her artwork has also been featured in a clothing line, among her many design collaborations.

Days before her Harper's Bazaar feat, the 33-year-old wife of Sen. Chiz Escudero released a limited edition heart-shaped hand bag in collaboration with French luxury brand Sequoia.

In 2018, Harper's Bazaar dubbed Evangelista and 3 other Asian socialites as the "Real Crazy Rich Asians" and featured them in a 6-minute video along with best-selling author Kevin Kwan.
