MANILA — The New Year marks a new chapter for MOMOLAND, as the K-pop girl group is set to expand its career in the Philippines as a newly signed Kapamilya.
The six-member group, who inked their ABS-CBN contract in October 2019, taped television guestings which started airing in December, including the network’s Christmas special.
The late-night talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda” opened 2020 on Monday with its first of two episodes featuring MOMOLAND.
Fans can also look forward to seeing them on the music channel MYX and “Gandang Gabi Vice,” as seen in a new behind-the-scenes reel of the girls’ three-day stay in the Philippines late last year.

The vlog also shows glimpses of their photo shoot with fashion platform Metro.Style, and their first live performance of their new single “Thumbs Up” in the Philippines.
Their first meetings with the likes of Liza Soberano, Joshua Garcia, Enrique Gil, Vice Ganda, and Ryan Bang — now their fellow Kapamilya stars — are also shown in the video.
