MANILA -- TV5 on Thursday announced that it was launching RPTV, a new free-to-air channel offering sports, news and entertainment programs.

RPTV is set to be the home of the PBA, as well as 3x3 and D-League games. It will also air other sports shows such as the PVL and games of Gilas Pilipinas.

Aside from sports programs, noontime TV show EAT…Bulaga, the show of Ted Failon and DJ Chacha, "News and Public Service", and Sen. Raffy Tulfo’s "Wanted sa Radyo" will also air on RPTV.
