MAYNILA - Humingi ng paumanhin ang Maynilad sa mga customers nitong apektado ng nagpapatuloy na rotational service interruption matapos ang pananalasa ng bagyong Ulysses.

Mananatili ang ipinatutupad na rotational service interruption schedules ng Maynilad dahil wala pa rin sa normal na output ang produksiyon ng tubig sa La Mesa Treatment Plant.

Ayon sa concessionaire, Biyernes nang mapatatag ang water production sa treatment plant sa 2,000 million liters per day (MLD) dahil ang turbidity level o sukat ng linaw ng raw water na mula sa Ipo dam ay nananatiling steady o mababa sa 300 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units).

Pero sabi ng Maynilad, ang 2,000 MLD ay mababa pa rin sa normal na output na 2,300 MLD dahil patuloy pa rin ang clearing ng sludge sa basins ng kanilang pasilidad.

“Nonetheless, this is enough for us to maintain the rotational service interruption schedules that were put in place to ensure that all customers receive water supply daily despite the limited supply,” saad ng Maynilad.

Samantala, tiniyak nila na ang mga lugar na matinding apektado ng kawalan ng suplay ng tubig ay mabibigyan ng mobile water tanker delivery services sa tulong na rin ng lokal na pamahalaan at Bureau of Fire Protection.

Inaasahan din nilang matatapos ang pagtanggal ng sludge sa basins sa pasilidad nila sa Nob. 24.
