MANILA -- Angkas is offering free rush hour rides to commuters along the LRT-2 line, which has been partially shut since last week, the motorcycle ride-hailing firm said Monday.
Commuters can avail of free Angkas rides from Tuesday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. from the west end of the LRT-2 in Recto, Manila to Santolan in Marikina down east.
The LRT resumed partial operations at 6 a.m. Tuesday from Cubao to Recto. It was shuttered for 5 days after a power rectifier along Katipunan Avenue burst into flames last Thursday.
