MANILA -- Filipino fathers are searching the internet for food, parenting and home decorating tips, challenging gender stereotypes, a Google analyst said Friday.

Fathers are also turning to the web for help with back to school chores and how relate to their children better, said Google Philippines industry analyst Geia Lopez.

"If we look at who's passionate about cooking and food, males are coming out on top," Lopez told ANC.

"That is something we would like advertisers and brands to take advantage of, to represent this reality about dads today," she said.
