In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Avila said he thought of “upgrading” his jeepney more than a year ago because of the road works along Sucat Road.

“Nuong ginagawa po ang Sucat Road, napaka-traffic. Kapag ako bumi-biyahe, napaka-traffic, pati mga pasahero ko galit na galit dahil sa traffic,” Avila told ABS-CBN News in an interview.

As an added security measure for his passengers, Avila also installed a CCTV camera in his jeep.
