MANILA – For Filipino commuters in Metro Manila, the struggle is real and one jeepney driver in Parañaque is going out of his way to make commuting less stressful for his passengers.

Riding Rudy Avila’s jeepney is sure to make one’s daily commute more bearable with the number of entertainment options available.

If you’re in the mood to belt out a song or two, Avila’s jeepney is equipped with a karaoke machine.

The jeep, which plies the Sucat-Baclaran route, has become viral on Facebook after a passenger shared his experience.

Passengers brave enough to use the videoke machine are given free rides by Avila.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Avila said he thought of “upgrading” his jeepney more than a year ago because of the road works along Sucat Road.

“Nuong ginagawa po ang Sucat Road, napaka-traffic. Kapag ako bumi-biyahe, napaka-traffic, pati mga pasahero ko galit na galit dahil sa traffic,” Avila told ABS-CBN News in an interview.

“Nuong una, sinubukan kong maglagay ng videoke, yung mga pasahero ko naaliw, kumakanta. Sinasabi nila na dapat lahat ng jeep ganito. Marami ang natuwa,” he added.

As an added security measure for his passengers, Avila also installed a CCTV camera in his jeep.

“Sabi ko nga, kapag ikaw nakasakay sa sasakyan ko, kahit naka-barong ka sisiguraduhin kong ‘di ka madudumihan kasi napaka-linis ng sasakyan ko,” he said.
